Taste of Downtown is coordinated by Downtown Springfield, Inc., a volunteer-driven, not-for-profit organization formed in 1993 to preserve downtown’s historic heritage and build economic & cultural vitality in the district. The event is sponsored by Isringhausen Imports, Miller Lite, St. John’s Children’s Hospital, Capitol Radio Group, Ameren, Marine Bank, Recycled Records, Illinois Times, Colmans Campers and many in-kind sponsors.
